I have seem many failed attempts to install KB4471324 so I would like to bypass this and update to 1809 from a 1809 full install dvd made from an ISO download (64bit).
Is this advisable and will my apps and activation still exist?
I downloaded MediaCreationTool1809.exe and used it to create an installation thumb drive for Win10 x64 1809. I used the thumb drive to update my laptop to 1809 (running setup.exe off the root of the thumb drive), and that completed without problem....
