I'm just curious as to why someone with a valid and legitimate license for Windows 8.1/10 Pro would even want to use an illegal activation scheme for it?

    My guess? ..

Some may have read the end of free upgrade notice and gone 'nefarious' subsequent... brings me back to a comment I made regarding MS rescinding activation acquired post 'cut-off' date in another thread (and piracy going rampant)... In this instance , I don't think the OP was aware, but... rather he come here for advice than elsewhere...

The 10 Pro key that showkey found is of no use to you by the way, just in case you haven't figured that out yet.
It's a KMS key that will not activate.

I find it refreshing that somebody figured out things weren't quit right. And want's help to get it legal and above board. They may have just unsuspectingly followed some really bad advice.

Agree. He was free with the info, didn't hold back. He did indicate he was going to go the clean install route. That should get him back on track. Hope he posts back the results.

And I'm sure that any website offering a "pre- activated" Windows 10 is not going to explain what "pre- activated" really means.

Hardly! Here's one that kinda almost does. All you have to do is DL the ISO (1511, wow!!!!), and "just" DL their "Activator" to fire it up! Such a deal!!!!

Because I thought I will get Home version and cant disable Auto Feedback option. I am still curious after clean installation of Windows 10 Pro will it be activated 100% or not!
