should I try the 1809 update after this stuff?

Or are you wanting to look at the various logs etc first?

After the results of the above are viewed there may be other steps.

Before the next upgrade attempt a checklist will be posted.
Once the checklist is completed the upgrade can be performed.

    3 - AVG Uninstalled

    4 - Done

5 - No problems. I never tried to install a Dell driver because they haven't published one since Vista. NVidia did n't have one for this adapter either. I did use the vista driver when the machine was running win7 without any problem

    7 -
    Code:
     C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>
9 - Not exactly sure what you wanted by this link - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/23cw21n0n...vwpVMPZia?dl=0 is a folder with the text and an .evtx save of the events

    10 -

I have one from the late Jan / Feb 1809 release created with the media tool built with the "both" x32 & x64 option ( I have 3 other win10 x64 machines). Used the setup in the x32 folder for one of the update attempts
