That seems awful fast. Despite not wanting to upgrade manually I am using Windows Update Assistant and its taking forever. I don't want to be negative but based on previous experience I am not hopeful.
I was about to use the MCT for computer number two since WUA is taking forever on #1 but maybe I will use the tool but think i will just install 1809. If its successful (crossing fingers) I'd like to see if I am offered 1903 (or whatever it is called).
I have now updated all of my computers to 1809. Microsoft did not do it as they should have and that is not acceptable to me nor should it be to anyone else who had to do it themselves. They have failed to live up to their promise to keep Windows 10 updated for millions of users most of whom have no idea how to update themselves.

After fully going through my computer to check that everything was the same as before the update, other than having to enable System Restore I noticed in the Event Viewer Applications Log that there were tons of User Profile Service Event ID 1534 warnings. I searched this issue and it seems to be a common (non-harmful) issue when updating to 1809. but then again, I am actually okay with MS not offering 1809 to some users who still did not receive it thru WU as MS is almost ready to release 1903 or 19H1 next month and those users should upgrade to that one instead because of so many problems found with 1809
I updated 4 days ago because of what I read in an Ask Bob newsletter. I used the Media Creation Tool and there were no problems after the update other than a minor thing that I already posted about the other day. I have already posted this quote from the Ask Bob (Bob Rankin) newsletter but here it is again:
Should You Postpone Windows 10 Updates?
First, if you activated Windows 10 less than 30 days before any major update is due to happen, you get a pass; the update will not come to such “young” Windows installations. Presumably, that’s because infant Windows 10 installations are born current.
Second, if you have not been updated to the last major update, then the next one will not be delivered to you, and you will not be able to install it manually. The 2018 Fall Update is Version 1809 (Each Version number consists of the year [‘18] and month [09 - September] of the update’s scheduled release). It is important to have Version 1809, else Version 1903 will not install. (You may see references elsewhere to the "April 2019 Update" or "Version 19H1" -- both are alternate or code names for Version 1903.)

In the past end users could upgrade computers without having to install each Windows version in sequence.
Has this changed?
For example if you wait until Windows 1903 is available, then create a Windows 1511, 1607, 1703, 1709 iso, then perform a clean install you will have successfully installed Windows and skipped the 1803 and the 1809 versions. Then you use a brand new Windows 1903 iso to perform a Windows upgrade. Will this no longer upgrade?
I recently upgraded a PC with Windows 7 Starter in two steps, first using the MCT ISO for the original 1507 (10240). Then I upgraded that with the MCT ISO for 1809. I didn't install any 10240 updates or any of the intervening versions. No problem were encountered. So yes, you can skip generations with ease.
Why the two steps? Well, the OEM W7 Starter came with Office 2010 Starter installed. While MS say that Office Starter is incompatible with Windows 10 I know from experience that it works fine. But all versions of W10 from 1511 up will uninstall Office Starter 2010 when upgrading W7. Only the original 10240 doesn't. Once upgraded to W10, an upgrade to a newer version of W10 leaves it installed.
1809 should widely become available as MS released 1809 in the SAC channel Thursday morning March 28:
