it's under Programs and Features. Read Post #1.
None of these fixes have helped me. in the installed updates tab there is no update with the same name. so i can't delete it. but I still get the same update error.
And I am now actually vaunrable to something or isn't it as important as it seems?
It seems that MS has created yet another screwed up update. My system installed 2018-12 (KB4023057) on 12/06. This morning, it tried (3 times) to install 2018-11 (KB4023057) which failed each time with error code 0x80070643. I uninstalled KB4023057 from the Programs and Features panel, rebooted, and the Update History page still displays the update with (3). Once again, MS has created a problem with the update process. The last time I had this sort of problem it took a restore to fix. I think the Windows logo should be replaced with the spinning blue circle as that more correctly reflects what's going on within MS Windows support.
Poor MS software QA strikes again! Fixed OK as per Post 1.
Thanks in advance for the solution provided! I'm just curious about one thing though. Will this update KB4023057 stay under programs & features section? Shouldn't it be viewed under ''Update history''?
Thanks again.
