Should I Replace Windows 10 Pro Product Key on working Dell PC

Last year I purchased a refurbished Dell Latitude E6430s with Win10 Pro pre-installed. Shortly thereafter I completed a Clean Install of Win10 Pro to remove bloatware. System worked well for months, until I visited Windows Update & Security in Settings and happened to notice that my Win10 Pro was not activated. I contacted the PC supplier who advised me that the Product Key for this PC was located on a tag at the bottom of the PC.

Regardless, I rebooted and somehow Win10 Pro activated itself using a link to my Microsoft Account.

System is working well, but...should I change the Product Key now to the one supplied with this PC? Will it cause any problems?

    Appreciate any advise.
    Thank you

If your computer is truly activated, then my answer is ……..

No. There is no reason whatsoever to "replace" it with another Win 10 Pro product key.

I do have one question : Is the seller of that refurbished Dell Latitude trustworthy and reliable ?

Yes, they are a Microsoft Authorized Dealer located in the Toronto area.

Thank you so much for your reply and advice.

Since Win10 Pro was pre-installed, the Digital License was probably linked to your Microsoft Account the first time you accessed your MS Account using that computer. Since MS didn't inform you of any problem, and Win10 Pro is now activated using a link to your Microsoft Account, all should be well - MS doesn't use product keys much with Win10 - they prefer your system to be linked to a MS Account.
