    From the article:
"Of course, there’s a limit: You can only pause updates for seven days at a time"
"Windows 10 Professional users still have more control, including the ability to pause updates for up to 35 days instead of just seven"

I think that, when 19H1 is released in April, both versions, Pro and Home, will be able to pause the updates for 35 days. Let me explain, at this moment, the button only allows to pause the updates up to 7 days, both in Pro and in Home, but it's due to the fact that it's an insider build, for those who don't know yet, in the Pro version, the insiders can only pause the updates for 7 days, while in the public build, you can pause the updates for 35 days, at the moment that any build reaches the "RTM" status, that 7 day option changes to 35 days, so the fact that at this moment those updates can only be paused for 7 days in the Home version, doesn't mean that in April this continues to be the case, I think that for those who have the Home version, that option that now says 7 days in the insiders builds, it will also change to 35 days in April in the "RTM" build, as it happens in the Pro version, in April we will know...

In my opinion, it amounts to no pausing, but a lot could happen in seven days - or less - with MS updates.

    For example...

Hmm, a week's a long time in politics- a very long time in Brexit terms- but not much time at all in terms of MS fixing things- or not..

The latest insider build confirms this, this is the first build of version 1903 without watermark or expiration date and in this build the option that previously only allowed pause the updates for 7 days has already changed to 35 days:

Pause updates on build 18356 (Home).
