Hide / Disable daily driver updates of the same thing.

Not sure of the optimum place to post, so if it's wrong - Sorry,

Every day my runs and successfully installs the driver in the picture, Synaptics - Mouse (although it is the touchpad area I suspect).

Tried quite a few things,
Microsoft technician? remoteing in and eventually doing a re-install.
Second tech tried a few things and then disabled updates altogether and then left.

So since the 1809 was installed I have had over 20 successful installs.
Can't stop it.

registry key change useless

So is there a way, 1803 was cured by MS people somehow.
Last tech tried gpedit.msc and it's not installed /available.

So I am stumped, along with MS currently.

No group policy editor as you quite rightly say, although that didn't stop the MS people continually trying to initiate it.

Microsoft LEVEL 2 technician, deleted my A/V, deleted my backups/restore points and cleaned my disk by deleting 40 gig of data.
Faffed around for a while initiated a BIOS update (which I had done days before) and said he would call back in 30 minutes.

2 days and 3 calls later I am still waiting.

Desperation took over and (NB: This action is more than dangerous it's stupid)....
