Is there a way to disable w10 home edition update for good? the solution i found on google like setting up wifi limit, group policy,edit registry seems not to work as w10 ignores these setting regardless. I liked older windows where i can choose when to update my windows.

Hi, noted you have Home but your specs say Pro...
But you then mention Group Policy Editor.
Whilst you can find posts about adding this to Home, it doesn't then work properly.
To complement the tool above, again, as has been said a number of times, you can then use e.g. Windows Update Minitool (free) to manually scan for all updates.
Don't forget to set Active Hours too in Settings.
Does anyone have the answer? How do i disable windows 10 home updates? I don't see an answer in this post. Some suggestions but no definative answer.
Note that an idiot has created a modified version of the script mentioned in the above post.
Perhaps the original author is in a better position to explain it.
