    Windows 10 will not activate

Please see these images from my desktop computer:

Does anyone know why Windows 10 will not activate on my desktop computer?

    Hi, Google 0xc004f034

Windows will not activate error code: 0xC004F034 | Dell UK

Windows 10 Activation Error 0xC004F034 - Microsoft Community

What's the background? How did you get your Win 10 key? What's the history of the PC? Have you upgraded from Home to Pro? Transferred Windows from one PC to another?

Easiest course is to call your MS regional activation centre.

Windows 10 will not activate - background

    Hi dalchina,
    Thanks for reply.
    Background is:
I purchased Windows 8.1 Pro with a free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro and installed it on my desktop computer (PC1). I upgraded Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro. I purchased a new computer (PC2) which did not have an operating system. I cancelled activation of Windows 10 Pro on PC1. I installed Windows 10 Pro on PC2. When I tried to activate Windows 10 Pro on PC2 I received an error message product key blocked.

    Hi, there's
Use Activation Troubleshooter in Windows 10 | Tutorials

but perhaps easiest way forward is your regional activation centre.

You say you did deactivate your license on your older PC:

This may be of interest, being presumably what you've done:

    If this does not work:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530

Then I suggest installing Windows 8.1 Pro on the new computer. Since the Windows 8.1 product key is blocked from automatic online activation, you will have to use phone in activation. Once the 8.1 is activated over the phone, then you can upgrade to Windows 10. Once the upgrade is done and activated, then you can do a clean re-install of Windows 10 if you desire.

I don't see a mention of whether the original software edition was OEM, System Builder or Retail, could make a difference as OEM and System Builder are supposed to be licensed only to the computer it is first installed on. Retail can be installed on a Replacement computer but not both at the same time. But then, as noted by others, maybe the EULA terms have changed.

    Hi dalchina,
I took the easy road and contacted Microsoft Support. The rep was very helpful. After seeing my purchase invoice and other relevant evidence she gave me a new product key. Thanks for your assistance.

Others have reported the same. Contacting MS is often the best solution when you can show that you are just trying to move a legitimate licence to a replacement machine.
