Change the number of rollback days for Windows 10 ?

Fresh install of 1803 several weeks ago on new computer. CMD prompt run as admin. I get this error message not unlike the one shown in the comment on this web page:

    https://mspoweruser.com/how-to-chang...ture-upgrades/

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17134.1](c) 2018 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.C:\Windows\system32>DISM /Online /Get-OSUninstallWindowDeployment Image Servicing and Management toolVersion: 10.0.17134.1Image Version: 10.0.17134.1Error: 1168Element not found. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.logC:\Windows\system32>

Why do you suppose that is? I do have windows update blocker installed but I would think that that would not interfere with getting results. 1803 is the only OS ever installed. No cumulative monthly patches installed yet.

    Hello,

Here's our tutorial on this to see if it may help any.

Set Number of Days can Go Back to Previous Version of Windows | Tutorials

You might try running the SFC /SCANNOW command to see if it finds any corrupted or missing system files and can fix them.

Hi. Thanks for the quick reply. SFC came back with no problems:

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17134.1](c) 2018 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.C:\Windows\system32>SFC /SCANNOWBeginning system scan. This process will take some time.Beginning verification phase of system scan.Verification 100% complete.Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.C:\Windows\system32>

I ran the DISM /Online /Get-OSUninstallWindow cmd again with the same results. I wonder if as Bree noted in the tutorial and which you added up top the reason I am getting that error message "Note that these DISM commands are only available while you can still go back to a previous version of Windows" is because the OS has never been updated before or do you think irrespective of that it should still show the default number which is what now 10 days? TIA.

I would also say that it indicates you currently don't have a previous version of Windows to go back to.
