How to REALLY stop Win10 from auto updating?

    Yeah metered isn't the answer -.- No further update.

    Metered connection works at my end. The following update has not been downloaded.

    Yeah metered keeps *some* updates at bay. Not all though.

    Cumulative Updates, Features Updates and Defender definitions are stopped from automatically downloading over a metered connection. Flash updates and Defender Antimalware Platform updates are not.

    Subsequently I've only seen one other type of update download over a metered connection, updates for the Defender Antimalware Platform. That's an update for the Defender engine and UI itself, definitions updates do not download automatically on a metered connection.
