    Where is Windows 1809?


    I know Microsoft had some problems with 1809 and stopped the roll out. What is the current status on the update?

    and comments following - latest at end of course.

    The News section contains a thread per update per build and per upgrade with download links.

    You might expect distribution to be rather carefully controlled.

    - but if you attempt manual installation you may bypass MS's deliberately placed blocks- given in the article I quoted above.

    Not having any problems on several computers but they are older, newest is 25 months old. I hold the thought that perhaps the newer hardware is appearing faster than Windows can keep up with. It's the thing about what users want of bigger, better, faster, drives the cycle heard in the song with the lyric "and the wheel goes round, round, round".

My PC cannot connect to update service. I have tried all I know. Any help. Could it be Windows or is it me? Everything else is fine. Windows update needs to be updated but I cannot without some help, thank you. I hope it is a windows issue.

What can I do if I installed Window 10 1809 with reported problems and missing files ? I did not find any problem and missing files.Should I go back to windows 10 1803 or wait for update ?
