Still haven't received Windows 10 1809 Update via Windows Update

I still haven't received the new update via Windows Update and I don't want to manually download it from Microsoft.

Also, I ran across this article, Windows 10 graphics: Intel unveils new 'modern' drivers for 1809 and beyond | ZDNet, today. Is this why my PC's haven't received the update yet?

My HP isn't that old. It was brought out in 2015. My mom's Acer was brought out in 2011 or 2012.

I just checked, and I haven't gotten it yet either. No big deal. It will happen eventually whether you want it or not.

There's currently an upgrade block for some systems. You can check the the current status table in the news article below to see if your system may be affected.

If you don't want it, you can hide it.

I definitely want it. I have seen ways to force it but am NOT sure I want to do that.

I am still on Windows 10 Pro
    Version 1803, Build 17134.407

I would like to change the way I am notified of updates and choose to install or not like in Windows 7, I don't see anyway to do that.

I know that some systems are being blocked from getting Version 1809, Redstone 5.

I am not sure I am getting any updates the way Windows 10 does it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got it on my Dell Venue 8" tab and it hosed it. Had to reset and start all over and then i was still on 1809 and still faced with reinstalling everything.

In addition, MS seem to be taking this roll out slow and steady, unlike the 1803 roll out which was one their fastest. In the 1709 (and earlier) roll outs it was done in phases, newest and most compatible machines first. Some machines did not see the Features Update through windows update (either automatically or by checking for updates) until months after the roll out started. I have two 1803 machines I've left running 24/7 just to check on this and neither have seen 1809 through WU yet.

You cannot blame MS for being cautious with the 1809 roll out after all the problems with their 'false start' back in October

@Brink, how can I check to see if my HP and Acer are some of the affected systems?
