Still haven't received Windows 10 1809 Update via Windows Update

I am thinking it has to do with the display driver. I noticed that some display drivers connected via HDMI, USB-C, etc. with a specific driver version were affected. Both of my PC's are connected to a monitor via HDMI. However, I would like to confirm if my systems are affected and when the block will be taken off. This is really ridiculous of Microsoft. I mean.. My HP computer came pre-installed with Windows 10. My Acer came with Windows 8.1 pre-installed.

Microsoft told me that they haven't rolled out the 1809 update through Windows Update yet. I talked to Microsoft about this last night.

Neither of my 1803 machines have any of the blocking issues, but they don't see 1809 in Windows Update either. Even if there are no blocking issues for your machine it may still be weeks (or months if you are unlucky) before you see it in Windows Update. It's a phased roll out, you'll just have to wait patiently (or manually upgrade).

Same way I do it!

This reminds me of NASCAR a few years ago.

The drivers were all in a hurry to get out of the pits, the crews did not get all the lug nuts tight and caused problems.

1809 still has a few loose lug nuts so don't rush it.

Again, same here, on another 4 different computers of mine.

I don't wait for the Windows Update to upgrade I just download the update assistant from Download Windows 10 and then upgrade manually this is how sometimes I upgrade to the next version up.
