1809 status

The ISO update method just failed for me upgrading from 1709 to 1803. I set the defer update period to 180 days and Windows Update gave me the desired v1803, not v1809. The update to 1803 worked on the fourth attempt.

1809 is fine on another machine. In fact that one is running better! It seems to have tamed the touchpad a bit. The only I’ve gone back to 1803 on, the WiFi has always been a bit iffy on Windows 10 - works but takes a minute or two to connect. I’ll see if there’s a latest driver but Windows reckons it has the best one for that card.

This happened to me both on 1803 and 1809. What worked for me is I tried to update EVERY device from Device Manager. It got some more updates for the Intel and Asus devices.
