    A user may upgrade to 1809 when 1903 has been released.
    Hopefully the bugs in 1809 will have been fixed by then.

    Assuming a user is still on 1803, after 1903 is released, they would have to use something like HeiDoc's ISO download tool to get an 1809 ISO file from Microsoft, which will probably be a mid-cycle release updated about 3 months after after the initial build of 1809 (or keep an 1809 ISO file stored on a drive). Then upgrade using that ISO file and run Windows Update which, hopefully, will bring them up to the latest 1809 build and not upgrade them to 1903? Then block the update to 1903 until 1909 is released, and repeat the process again to upgrade to 1903, which will have the bugs worked out once 1909 is released?

    And won't 1903 get released with hundreds of bugs not fixed, just like all the previous upgrades were claimed to be?
    MS promised, that it will improve the quality next time, after 2 fails (1803 & 1809). Anyway, people, who want a stable 10, are using 1709. 1809 is still meant for insiders and people, who like to take risks. MS is currently dealing with serious bugs, so it is unlikely, that it will focus on tiny bugs, like a bad sorting in task manager.

    Deletion bug fixed, all other hundreds of bugs still not fixed, your call. Better wait for 1903 though.
    Once you install, it can only get better;

    I upgraded 2 systems fron 18.03 to 18.09 no issue with the upgrade process.
    There is a nasty bug with "network drive persistence" but that does not affect me, so I bite the bullet, for now no particular problems.

    Can you give more details of the network drive persistence bug please? My WiFi just disappeared again!

    1809 also has a bug which prevents [HP] printing. I had to put Mum's PC back to 1803.

    Just installed 1809 via iso. My WiFi card isnít recognised - not in device manager. It was fine on 1803. So will be rolling back and waiting for it to appear in updates. Connected via usb WiFi and did any outstanding updates and itís still not recognised.

    Edit- WiFi card back after a couple of restarts  So left it on 1809. This is old basic hardware.
    Go to your Wi-Fi cards company's website and download and install the latest driver they have for it. I had to do that with my Audio a few days ago

    Hide the upgrade to 1903 and install the cumulative update for 1809.
