I just installed windows 10 pro clean on a new PC from retail media I got at Best Buy & used the key that came with & it activated but does not say activated with a digital license but says windows is activated using your organization's activation service. By using a key is this normal? My Enterprise Version also says that but not my Dell & HP.
If it's enterprise version it highly likely it's a pirate copy it is only for large companies not for home use they have a local server which activates it it's not activated by MS so you have no way to activate it. Take it back tell them it's a pirate copy and you want a genuine copy or you will report them to MS for piracy
I am aware the Enterprise will sat that ts a 30 license key I got when I did these machines but a Retail Pro I got from Best Buy, I took it back & they not take opened software items back but he did & gave me another one & used that key & same thing says windows is activated using your organization's activation service.
Might be related to the Activation Server issues, currently a lot of 10 pro users are finding they have been deactivated. MSFT acknowledges some Win10 Pro licenses being mistakenly deactivated - Windows 10 Forums
As explained it CAN'T be activated it will only activate by a local kms server and will need the server to reactivate every x days it is not for sale and is only supplied to firms who have 1,000 of PCs with a volume license the firm shouldn't be selling it demand a home or pro disk if reported to MS piracy they will jump on them and may give you a free copy as you are a victim of piracy
My dell was deactivated this morning I called them gave me a new key & said there issues on MS server & that new key he gave me says windows is activated using your organization's activation service. Dell told me that normal by using a key but I not sure but if it activated i'm happy till they fix it i guess it will change they say when they fix it to a digital license.
