    Insider laptop suddenly not activated

    hello all,
today I suddenly noticed that my laptop is no longer activated... don't know what happened.
I found out that was using local account, but then I immediately switched back to microsoft account and still can not activate windows because I do not have valid digital license or valid product key.
If I click on solving problems then it is saying that product key can not be used with this version of Windows since they found Windows 10 Home digital license for this device.
Checking https://account.microsoft.com and my laptop is there listed with Windows 10 Professional OS as it always was.
Why and what happened and how to solve it ?
I do not have product key. The key is generic ending with 3V66T.

Windows 10 Requires Activation since using Insider winver 1809

I have the exact same problem. I have been using Win 10 Pro on this machine since its release.
Now since running version 1809 (OS Build 17763.107) as an Insider I am getting that my Win 10 is not activated. When I click troubleshoot it also tells me my version is Win10 Home which needs to be re installed (It is Win 10 Pro)

I am sure this is an insider issue as there should be a digital license with Windows 10 insider.

    Any help or suggestions?

Weird. Did Microsoft break something again ?

One more thing. Trying to workaround this with "Recently changed hardware" option, but Windows can not find laptop device under my account. I can see only desktop pc, but there clearly is laptop when checking via web with Windows Pro OS.

    btw using 17763.107

There appears to me to be a massive screwup by MS - it is not limited to Insider versions - all of my vms as well as main OS have become deactivated.

Other forums are complaining big time.

Windows suddenly says that it needs to activate despite having bought windows 10 years ago : windows

The Microsoft community boards are filling up with the same issue but the moronic support guys keep replying to use activation troubleshooter which just does not work.

@Brink - maybe we need a general alert - at least a fact finding news item?

This is a massive screwup if it is irreversible!!!!

OK -- just seen official confirmation about this issues

Hi,There is an ongoing issue about Windows 10 suddenly shown as deactivated. The affected users need not to do anything as it is a known issue. Here is what was told by Microsoft Chat support:Microsoft has just released an Emerging issue announcement about current activation issue related to Pro edition recently. This happens in Japan, Korea, American and many other countries.I am very sorry to inform you that there is a temporary issue with Microsoft's activation server at the moment and some customers might experience this issue where Windows is displayed as not activated.
Our engineers are working tirelessly to resolve this issue and it is expected to be corrected within one to two business days
@Brink - this is definitely worthy of news alert

Same problem here. SLMGR /ATO reports product key blocked. Retail Windows 10 Pro that's been activated since day one it was installed. Never been on Insider program on this computer.
