KB4462933 Installed Twice? (NOW going thrice?)

I remember my system installed KB4462993 before, and Windows Update Manager by Xanatos shows it was installed successfully on 10/25. Yesterday, wushowhide indicated that KB4462993 was waiting to be installed. Again? For the heck of it, I downloaded KB4462993 from MS today and ran it expecting the system to reject re-installation. Surprise, surprise! It proceeded to install and complete the process.

My winver is still 1803 Build 17134.376. What the ... ?!

It's a cumulative update thus contains recent updates and checks on a load of older ones. It is 100s if not 1000s of updates being checked, not just the one.
Sometimes these updates may have a missing prerequisites or something, thus a second update is required to complete.
I'm on 1809 build 17763.55 and the last cumulative update took two attempts, not unusual.
    Chill out

Yes, I notice the second one is a cumulative. I don't remember about the first one. I figured the second one must contain more than the first, but to use the same KB number? Probably, MS just made the same KB bigger.

I just checked wushowhide and the cumulative KB4462993 was there again for download (with a new WD definition, which is normal). I just updated cumulative KB4462993 a few hours ago TODAY. According to WU Manager I have two of the same updates: 10/25 and TODAY.

Maybe, I should just hide it.
