Denis (@Try3): I'll pass your tip onto David Xanatos, the program's developer. That's a good one and should be pretty easy to accommodate. Still learning how the program works myself, but the more I use it, the more I like it. Thanks for all the comments,

Disappointingly, WuMgr's tooltips do not give extra info as WUMT's tooltips do.

Indeed, about a year ago he promised to include it. Well this shows, that newer is not always better,

Spent a very enjoyable half-hour on Skype with the developer of Windows Update Manager (WUMgr) this morning.
Can you skype with him again, reminding him of the promise he made a year ago?

    "promise"?????

Shouldn't we just be grateful for what his efforts have achieved and hopeful of yet more in the future?

It may be difficult to get the extra info. None of WuMgr, WAU Manager, and my VBScript can do so.

Updated the Win10.Guru story to mention version 1.0, released on 10/19/2019. See: Toolkit Item: Introducing Windows Update Manager – Replacement for WUMT – Win10.Guru. Thanks for the heads-up, guys!

also WUMT also shows the Applications ID portion in the Update History section of that app to show which modules were responsible for downloading & installing updates. for example the Application ID for many Windows Updates is wusa, and for device driver updates it's "Device Driver Retrieval Client" (there's a DLL file like this in the Windows\System32 folder)

Wumgr does not show Application IDs in the Update History section like WUMT does - I made a request in another forum to include that in a future version
