Not being Notified by Windows Defender of new Malware Definitions

    I don't know how to enable the bug, but I never get unwanted notifications. I am still using 1809.

    It happens in Pro if you have 'Notify' enabled in Group Policy- or used to. You have Home... I still have an occasional notification of a Defender update, but nothing like as often as used to be the case.

Defender notified threat.

As my AV am using Kasperski free plus MBAM free. Also have set up Defender to do periodic scans (there being no conflict) Defender has notified a threat and quarantined it. Neither Kasperski or Mbam reported it. Link below for info on threat....
