Hi, sorry your question isn't quite clear.

You mention Active Hours, so is your concern about a pending restart?
I found some time back (could have changed) that even with an update restart pending in the Active Hours period there wasn't an automatic restart at the end of that period. I'd actually be quite happy with that, although one might think the specification confusing or unclear.

    Clearly you could simply restart.

If, however, your question is about updates not being delivered, then yes, they are not delivered everywhere to everyone simultaneously (just think of the network traffic conflict with Netflix users!).

You can manually scan, but if you don't receive an expected update, you can find the manual download links per update per build in the relevant article in the News section here.

    waiting for pending
    - perhaps you could clarify - what exactly is pending? Is there a specific message? Screenshot?

Your reference to Active Hours suggests you are referring to a pending restart.

Or do you mean you are waiting in hope and anticipation?

    Thanks.

Press the Windows and "i" keys simultaneously, click "Update and Security", click "Troubleshoot" in the left window, then "Windows Update" in the right.
