    I did the test with OEM activated - I wanted to check that in particular as most have upgraded from OEM and may need to transfer at some point...

    I still need to do Retail activated hardware transfer tests. I think it's important to make a distinction in upgrade transfer method, as I think the upgraded licence gets incorporated into the DL.

Hi there anybody else got this -- trying to personalize PC -got you need to activate windows before you can personalize PC. Now what do I do !!!!!?! Is this normal (I did an UPDATE rather than a new install BTW). Cheers
