No update as of 2:03 PM EDT. 4PM EDT is the time and that's probably when it will be released.
Interesting quote from Paul Thurrott from article about the 4PM EDT MS event. Just an educated guess.

Microsoft will launch Windows 10 version 1809 at the event. This one is an educated guess, but highly probable, and most of the journalists and bloggers I chatted with yesterday agree: Microsoft will launch Windows 10 version 1809 for “seekers” today and then follow it up with the general release next Tuesday. Which, by the way, is Patch Tuesday. The exact day this always happens.
My guess if this happens today it will be the Release Preview for Insiders. MS uses the Release Preview as a final test to send a Cumulative Update at it to test the update process.

That event starts at 4PM EDT so we will see.

So that means no Win10 1809 today but next Tuesday? If it is, then I won't get my hands on the new Win10 1809 without any bugs. So disappointed.

Just switch to the insider "just send me early updates" ring and always get it a week before the public.

Ah, so it's official then according to Mr. Thurrott...

The update will actually start rolling out next week, on Patch Tuesday — that’s the 9th of October. But you should be able to download it manually from here.
(But via manual update you still getting 1803)
