Is that because most of your files have been deleted?

My family has 4 computers and all updated fine with no issues with the lost files or anything else. All run a little quicker. Funny how the update destroyed some systems and others like mine are perfect.

I updated to 1809 about a week ago using "offline" ISO/USB installation method, meaning create a USB installation media of Win10 v1809 from an ISO image file, disconnecting from the internet (unplugged any ethernet/LAN cables & turned off the WLAN adapters on the PCs that I'm upgrading) and running the installation from the USB flash drive. took an average about an hour to upgrade them but they all went fine without any loss of document files. btw, these were sorta old PCs using legacy bios (non-uefi) chips

I never upgrade to 1809 using Windows Update or running the upgrade with an active internet connection.
