Hi. Sorry for the flubbed link. Here is the Windows Update log:
    WindowsUpdate.zip - Google Drive
The zipped files are attached. I will be running the disk check after I submit all this stuff here. I will post results tomorrow (today actually).

    1) Open Ccleaner > click windows tab > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

    2) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings
    a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery into the thread.
    b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > under performance options > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory tab into the thread

    3) Uninstall Kaspersky AV using the applicable uninstall tool
Removal tool for Kaspersky Lab applications (kavremover)

    4) Turn on Windows defender

    5) Kaspersky can be reinstalled after the troubleshooting has been completed

    6) Download and install: Everything
    voidtools

    7) Use Everything to search for:

    win32k.sys-20180914-0404.dmp

Zip the file > post a one drive, drop box, or google drive share link into the thread

    8) Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste all of these commands at one time:

    net stop bits
    net stop wuauserv
    net stop appidsvc
    net stop cryptsvc
    net stop msiserver
    ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old5
    ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old5
    net start bits
    net start wuauserv
    net start appidsvc
    net start cryptsvc
    net start msiserver

Click enter at the completion of the last command.

Run Windows updates > post an image into the thread of the Windows update and windows update history

Zbook, I don't know what time it is where you are but its 5:30am here. I thought I was going bed while I running the disk check. So I took my sleep aids already. Can we pick this up later in the day? Should I still run the disk check ? Getting drowsy here.
I downloaded the KAV Removal tool and the Everything, so I have them ready to go later today.

You could just opt to do an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data - sometimes it's just so much quicker to do that than trying repeatedly to fix problem that proves intractable.

There were several chkdsk reports in the event viewer.
Please run the chkdsk /r /v on the drive and post a share link for the results into the thread.
As dalchina commented the in place upgrade repair may fix the problems with the updates.
Please report into the thread the outcome of Windows updates after step #8 in post # 13

Ok, I burned a windows 10 ISO that is ready for use when needed.
    I removed Kaspersky Internet Security.
    Turned Windows Defender on.
    Installed "Everything".
Searched for "win32k.sys-20180914-0404.dmp" and found two files with same name and different file sizes. I am uploading the larger file to Google drive and providing a share a link for you below. I had to use 7zip to compress it. I hope this is ok. It was the only option available on the right click menu.
    win32k.sys-20180914-0404.7z - Google Drive

Now I am running the commands listed on step 8 of post 13.
Here are the images for Windows Update results

Then, I'm not sure if I should do the check disk now or just go right to the In Place Upgrade Repair.
