    Update Error

After running the update troubleshooter I get:

Windows Updates components must be repaired.

How do I fix this problem?

    Hello Don,

If you like, resetting Windows Update using the method in the tutorial below also includes repairing Windows Update components.

    Thank you Brink,

    I ran your repair program.

It came up with an error.

    I fixed the problem.

I re-ran the repair program and an other error came up.

I checked the update history and there are 7 more failed to updates.

I bought this computer with Windows 10 pre-intalled to work on my football programs. Not work on Windows 10.

I worked all off season on Windows 10.

I thought I had the Updates under control then somehow it snuck an Update in on me.

    Now I have:
    1. Taskbar clock text is black (can't read).
    2. Sticky keys has long delay between Sticky Keys* and the beep that follows.

Is there away I can re-install Windows 10 without any updates; quickly, football already started.

So I don't have a lot of time to spend in Windows 10.

    Thank you.

You could see if a repair install may fix all this for you without losing anything.

    Thank you Brink,

I will probably have a lot of questions.

To start with how do I get the window in this screen shot?

    No problem Don.

Do you mean while using step 4 in the repair install tutorial above?

If so, clicking on the links in the steps will provide more details on how to do that specific action.
