    If that's causing a spurious detection, you could use the exclusion list.

    Not really, I just wanted to know if it was like removing any other windows update.

    Well, first you'd need to find it listed as such.. (in Settings or Programs and Features/Installed updates. I don't believe it is. Second, draw a comparison... if you were running, say, Bitdefender or Avast, would you ever consider trying to reverse a particular definition update?
