Prevent 1803 update without affecting other available updates

Dear Brink, I recently downgraded to 1709 because the audio was not good with the new update. Is there a way I can prevent the 1803 update without afecting the other available updates?

If you have Pro you can defer Features Updates for up to 365 days without affecting Quality Updates (the cumulative updates).

Windows Update - Defer Feature and Quality Updates in Windows 10

If you have Home then those options are not available. You can however hide the 'Features update to Windows 10, version 1803'. You will still get all other updates as normal.

More precisely: You have to hide/block the "Feature update" each and every month again and again.

No. You have to download and install Monthly updates manually.

No you don't. The 'Features Update' will stay hidden until such time as MS reclassifies it. This will happen when the version is switched from (as it used to be known) the Current Branch (CB) to the Current Branch for Business (CBB). That is due to happen when 1809 is released, so you will have to hide it again then, but only because it is now technically a different 'Features Update' from the current one.

Wrong again. If you hide one update, all the rest are still seen and downloaded automatically by Windows Update. See my System Two in my specs below, that runs ALL previous version of Windows 10, right back to 1507, build 10240. I can assure you that hiding the Features Update in 1709, 1703, 1607, 1511 or 1507 has no effect at all on all the cumulative updates, they still are seen and installed as normal.

Not true for Home edition, as I referred.

Again, not true for Home edition with 1803 hidden/blocked.

Having fun seeing tons of fails made by those local "gurus" here...

f14tomcat: Usually I don't care, but if some vip & guru etc etc repeats its erroneous statements although being corrected, I really enjoy it. These fails make clear indication of real degree of this whole forum.

    Some methods I use:
    How to prevent 1803 forever?
How can I prevent automatic updates? - do not use part 1 (MS adds interfering scheduled tasks), part 2 is ok

    Different methods:
Stop Windows 10 Updates Properly and Completely
    and there are more...
