    6) Sometimes there are problems in the bios that produce bsod.

OK, before I work through your list I'll list what I've done since my last post.

Went into System Configuration (msconfig as admin), set to Selective Startup, disabled all services that can be turned off.
    Restarted.
Ran CCleaner to clear over 13MB of logs.
Ran the setup on the USB stick, ran fine until it got to 43% again. Had to hit the reset button from here, it restored previous version, came up with same error code.
Went back into System Configuration to set back to normal startup.
Restart and it has been fine on ver 1709. At least it seems to do that well!
Ran the log collection program again - see attached.
Hopefully that will be a cleaner/simpler set of log files for you guys to work with.

I ran it before attempting the upgrade. Just trying not to overload you with superfluous data.

    5) I haven't bothered with any overclocking for years now. Certainly not on this rig.

I'm not a gamer nor expect absolute top performance. I tend to choose mid-range gear, have it run clean and simple. Graphics card is the weakest component performance wise. And even that only runs whatever driver Windows throws at it. I don't use the full driver from ASUS because they don't tend to make any worthwhile difference for my usage.

    7) BIOS ver 4011 is the latest.

    8) PRIME B350-PLUS Driver & Tools | Motherboards | ASUS Australia

    9) Pretty much stock BIOS settings. About the only thing I change is the cpu fan speed profile for a bit more airflow. I don't mess with any overclocking settings.

    13) Restore point created.

    14) CCleaner screenshot. (And no, I didn't actually run this time.)

    16) I don't use any 3rd party AV software. Had a bad experience a long time ago, haven't touched them since. Only use what is built into Windows.

    17) None.

That will do for the moment. I'll look at that Verifier and run the chkdsk overnight and report back tomorrow.

    1) For Ccleaner uncheck:
    a) Memory Dumps
    b) Windows Log Files
    c) Windows Error Reporting

    2) For startup and recovery system failure:
    a) uncheck Automatically restart
    b) reboot

    3) Find a flash drive that you can format ( > or = 8 GB)
    4) Create a bootable Windows 10 iso:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

    5) When available please post the zipped Panther logs

(Disk 2 is the USB stick with the 1803 that the MCT created)
I've got other drives but they're all disabled still from when I was trying to do this.
The ESD-USB stick looks too big. It's typically 3-5 gb, at most. If I could offer a suggestion, I battled this attempted update of 1607 here - Problems with Windows 10 Update KB4023057 -
While we succeeded, it was only temporary. I connected via Teamviewer and it would not install any more cum updates and every attempt to upgrade to 1709 failed, just like yours, at varying %'s then rollback to prev version. When 1803 came out, SAME thing. Clean boot, scan PC health, reinstall all drivers, etc came up clean but ALWAYS failed, once even after 100% then on restart. This took up 4 months of weekly sessions then rested a month, as this is the ONLY computer of more than a dozen that I support that I couldn't update or upgrade with less than 3 attempts.
But I'm stubborn when I get perplexed. Suggested a week ago to try 1803 'Keep Nothing' option. Did backup of data and program exe's and licenses. Went to this page - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...oad/windows10/
Downloaded and ran MCT but used the 'Upgrade This PC' option (vs create iso/usb), used 'Keep Nothing' vs 'Keep files and apps' or 'keep personal files only'. 1.5 hrs later, SUCCESS !! Not only upgraded three versions ahead but installed all cum updates issued since release of 1803, so current as of today on first try !
Now, just my two bits, I see you have less than 70gb used on C, 1/3 of which is probably Windows so you can't have many programs or files on it, unlike the computer I worked with where we backed up 880gb. You may not want to hear it but rather than waste hrs diagnosing the issue, try the online Upgrade with, at least the Keep personal files option, if not the Keep nothing. This would take less than 1 hr to run and see if it rolls back again, which I doubt because this other computer is from 2012 and it succeed. Then maybe couple hrs to reinstall your programs and settings and Done. Good Luck.
