    Delay Windows 10 Updates for up to One Year Version 1803 Build 1734?

    In some of the older versions of Windows 10 pro/enterprise, you could delay feature updates (specifically disabling feature updates while still getting security updates) in the advanced options of update settings. However, I am on version 1803 Build 17134 right now, and I no longer see this option; I only see the option to "pause" all updates for 35 days.
    How can you delay feature updates for up to a year on Windows 10 Version 1803 Build 17134?

    You only want to delay updates for up to 30 days. Up to a year, you are looking for huge security problems not getting fixed. There has never been an option to stop all updates for a year, since modern Operating systems get updated with changes and fixes in about every 30 days these years, with at least 6 months to the next major change.

    That's odd, I see those options. You do have to scroll to the bottom of the advanced options to see them, though.

    There's a big difference between Quality Updates (these are the security fixes) and Features Updates (upgrades to the next version of Windows). You can defer a Features Update for up to 365 days without a security risk, as long as you continue to get the Quality Updates. Those can be deferred too, but only for up to 30 days.

    Not sure what could be causing the difference! I'm on version 1803 build 17134.

    Yes, but 17134.what? I'm on 17134.191.

    You may have a group policy configured. To find out, go to Windows Update and if it says 'some settings are managed by your organaisation' then click on 'view configured update policies'.

    @Bree -

    Hi. Is there a program that notes all the changes made by the next build of W10, so if a piece of software breaks there is a way to identify the culprit? Also, how can a new build of W10 be rolled back to the former state without using System Restore points?

    Thanks! :)
