Windows is not activated - Error 0xC004F012 / 0xc0020036

Hey all!

So basically, I turned on my PC yesterday as per usual and about half way through using it for the day I noticed a see through "Activate Windows" located on the bottom right, at first I thought maybe it was part of this Wallpaper I recently found online but then noticed it was actually my PC!

I've had Win10 for ages now, so It wasn't a recent activation, I'd say maybe around 2 years or so.

So I went to Settings and came across this.



Then when I clicked Troubleshoot I got this.




I tried doing some research online to see if I could fix it myself but found nothing specifically relevant.

The only thing I can think of that I might have done significantly on my PC is that I recently was changing Modems for my Internet Connection, but then reverted back to my previous one I had for years (because the new one was actually worse somehow), not sure if that will help in anyway.

Update: I reset my PC and now it's gone...., i tried this yesterday and It didn't work, i'll see how it goes for now, could be a glitch in the matrix?

I have an activation issue too and looked where you told Vellaura to look. There's nothing after the colon there, except a quote mark, which appears after every entry on the list. What does this mean? Thanks.

That something is really messed up....

Same issue as OP, and I'm tending to agree with @Vellaura.

Running "slmgr /dlv" in an Admin CMD returns an error for me.

Update:
Ran the Activation Diagnostic tool from the forums and the Installed Key doesn't match the key I have. That being said, I originally installed Windows 8 which I purchased from Best Buy with the activation code provided with the DVD's. I then did the free upgrade to Windows 10. IIRC, I had some difficulty with the upgrade and a Microsoft technician helped me over the phone with completing that task. Now the reported key and the key I have in my DVD set here don't seem to match.
