Thanks Ben, The article says it's caused by 3rd party anti-virus software. I don't have 3rd party anti-virus software. Went into my update history and it happened after the version 1709 update. There are also some instructions I don't understand, like what blue screen? Thanks again for trying to help.

Should I try to uninstall the update?

If you are not seeing a blue screen at startup, you may have a different problem. In this case, uninstalling the update would probably be the first thing I would try.

Uninstalled and it got worse. I had an all orange screen. Restarted and it reinstalled the update so I'm back to square one.

You might try System Restore, if you have a restore point that predates the problem. Press the Windows and "R" keys simultaneously, type "rstrui.exe" into the "Run" box and click "OK".

Unfortunately my I only had 2 restore points and they were corrupted. I had other issues too with the graphics card so I grew frustrated and said **** ** and got a new computer. Thank you so much for your help Ben.
