    (Updates are cumulative, so you can forget the failing update).

    If you try to update and it still fails, you can also try disabling any security solution and a clean boot and then trying again although that should not be necessary.
    before installing the KB4345421 update, install the KB4343669 servicing stack update first. KB4343669 is a required update before installing the KB4338819 (now superseded by KB4345421) update.

    finally i decided to do a fresh clean install and my problem is solved now.
    Problem with installing update, KB4284848 Failed-capture.png

    i advise to folk that don't touch the windows update files in "Disk cleanup" and let it be there.
