I have started to receive the message posted in the image below.
Tried all the usual fixes:- Reregistering Updates, SFC /Scannow, DISM, deleting SoftwareDistribution file Contents, Tweaking Computers Windows Repair etc but nothing works.
Any help gratefully received Thanks in advance.

Given those and that you have Tweaking.com's repair tool, you might try the fix for Windows services.

Have you checked your disk, and run chkdsk c: /scan from an admin command prompt?
And please confirm the outcome ofwas successful.SFC /Scannow, DISM,

SFC says no corrupted files DISM the same. Chkdsk is fine. Have tried all the suggestions on the web but none work. Tried the tweaking.com repairs for "updates" and "all"

- if you've not started using disk imaging routinely yet (e.g. Macrium Reflect (free)), now could be a good time..
I already use Macrium, but I'd never had this error code before and normally I can fix these type of things easily (30+years of IT). Thanks for your help.
