    Two Black Tuesday observations

    1. After Windows Update service enabling, it immediately starts dowloading 1803 Upgrade even though it was blocked by wushowhide one month ago.

    2. After blocking 1803 Upgrade second time, Windows Update does not find/install Monthly cumulative update for 1709, the same situation as became in May.

So, our enemies kind protectors at Microsoft fight explicitly against security of shield efficiently our computers by leaving intentionally OS unpatched and vulnerable.

It may help in Settings, Updates and Security to scroll down in the right side to Learn more, click on it and find your version, maybe scroll down in it to Windows Update Catalog then manually download the offline install files. Choose the correct ones and don't choose Delta if offered. Delta is more for updates when the OS is fully up-to-date, may not give all that is needed. The other choices won't hurt if they give you more.

Thanks but personally I know many ways how to fully update my systems & how to avoid 1803 upgrade (of course all that ways are time consuming and annoying), but regular users don't. And they are in danger if they don't want to "upgrade" every sixth month (with all that poor consequencies). This is the reason of my post.

I think you are fighting a loosing battle frankly.

If you want to use Windows 10 you have to update or spend your entire life struggling to stay one step behind.

As I wrote above - not a problem for me but big problem for regular users.

This is what LTSB is for, but that's not for the general public / consumers. =(
I think I see almost as many "why didn't I get this update" posts as there are "how do I block this update" post?
IMHO, it wouldn't be an issue if there was any form of quality control at Microsoft. That's the feeling I get lately. Patch Tuesday more often than not ends up being crash Tuesday.

It's worth having the Pro version if only to control when feature updates are installed!

Currently I'm testing 1607 LTSB in virtual machine. It is the best Win10 ever - incredibly fast, no Metro bloatware apps at all. I'll wait for one more month to give MS chance to offer monthly update to systems with blocked 1803 upgrade. If not, I'll implement my choice.
