Windows 10: Active hours not showing AM or PM, just blank and a dot.

    Here is the picture:

I don't know what happened, I wanted to configure my active hours but I can't tell when is PM and when is AM, it just shows a blank and a dot, and I've seen other screens when it actually shows AM and PM.

Just updated to 1803, and this is one bug I've found. My time settings are for 12 hours:
Windows 10: Active hours not showing AM or PM, just blank and a dot.-9ds0x0b.png

    System specs: Dell Inspiron 5570
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U
    RAM: 8GB DDR4
    GPU: Intel UHD 620
    Dedicated GPU: AMD Radeon 530
HDD: 2 TB HDD (not SSD)
System: Windows 10 Home Single Language update 1803

I really don't know what is happening, I can't set the active hours because I don't know if the dot means AM or PM.

Hi, can you give the exact build number and confirm you have received the last update? (Windows key + R, winver, Update History).

See the News forum for the latest update.
    Cumulative Update KB4284835 Windows 10 v1803 Build 17134.112 - June 12 - Windows 10 Forums

Have you tried setting your system clock to 24 hours (check your Active Hours display format = 2 fields each) then back to 12 and check again?

I have exactly that version: 17134.112

The laptop restarted last night (while suspended...) and installed all these updates:

I've tried every single combination, I even find the AM/PM symbol configuration, changed it but didn't have any effect on Active Hours config. I have another laptop (I thought it could be some spanish language related) but it doesn't have this issue, it shows a.m. or p.m. on active hours, and they both have same language and hour configuration.

I found out that when I choose the 24 hour settings, the dot and the blank are gone, and now at least I can set the hours in 24 hour config. But when I revert it back to 12 hour, the dot and blank appears again.

    - and is it exactly the same build as well, and are both x64?

Do you know if your problem laptop has displayed that correctly since upgrading to 1803?

Unlikely but if two otherwise identical systems behave differently.. maybe a random corruption.. have you tried checking your disk? (I have a feeling SFC /SCANNOW might not correct this problem, but perhaps an in-place upgrade repair would - all a guess though).

Hello manimecker, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you like, you can set your Active Hours via Registry Editor using Option Two in the tutorial below for now to make sure you have the correct time set.
