Event Viewer 'Create Custom View' Drop Down gone w/ clean 1803 Home

I just noticed, on my laptop with 1803 17134.81 Home installed, that I can no longer get a drop down list in the Event Viewer for the radio buttons 'By Log' or 'By Source' under 'Create Custom View' nor under 'Filter Current Custom View', even after systematically reinstalling older images going back to my first clean install of 1803 17134.1.

It's was working on the my last 1709 16299.402 image however, and it's all still working on my desktop 1803 17134.81 Pro configuration.

Anybody else see this with 1803 Home?

It's still on my Home version. By Log and By Source have entries in them.

    Thanks @Berton

Dag. where's a reliable Windows 10 Feature Upgrade bug when you need it?

After a chkdsk /r , a full Memtest86+, SFC /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth & /ScanHealth all clear, I'm left to wonder if perhaps it's a new 1803 display driver issue I should check with Dell about first, otherwise try another initial clean install of 1803 thinking something went wrong at the very beginning.

Display set to 125% was the cause...

I was able to get the Event Viewer drop down menus to return after setting the display scale to 100%. The menus disappear at 125% on both the Laptop ( Recommended ) and the Desktop. The problem exists regardless of 'Fix scaling for apps' being set to 'On' or 'Off'.

This was not an issue under 1709, the problem first appearing under 1803.

Solved Event Viewer Create Custom View Drop Down gone after 1809 upgr

Thanks a lot for this hint.
Enormous applicative crashes issues after 1809 upgrade(coming from 17xx something, a mid-2018 upgrade?) on a previously well working laptop.
Wanted to view & export events after filters.
    Drop-down list gone.
Checking, laptop HD 15.6" had been directed to take the "125% recommended" option (I did not change that).
But then, madness on the screen follows: jumps of screen (like very small & brief shakes), blackouts of screen partial or complete, plus this drop-down list issue (and lack of clarity of fonts despite being bigger). When trying to make things better brake things I presume. Who tested this?

Applying this simple correction: waw! It looks more normal again (still a long list of crashes in the event log). I have no skills in that area to go further.

    Thanks thousand times for sharing.
