Windows 10 Important Updates Are Needed Message?

Hey all. So recently i got this message on my windows laptop. It basically is like a small blue screen that has this message and ask if you want to do it now, remind me later, or pick a certain time etc. Everytime i had this, i just clicked on remind me later. Issue would be everyday i have this message show up.

First off, i need to do this update right no matter what?

Has there been any issues with updating and then computer having issues etc?

Hi, do you have Pro and is it set so Windows Updates are set to 'Notify'?

I do, and every Windows Defender update generates that sort of indication.

What happens when you click on it?

Has there been any issues with updating
Have there been any issues with updating? Well that depends which build you are using.

Please see the relevant threads in the News section where there is a thread per update per build.
And yes, build 1803 (current) is causing some problems for some, plus its subsequent update.

First off, i need to do this update right no matter what?
No, not right. It's your choice.

    I have windows 10 pro.

Im not sure if its set to notify? How do i check this?

Click on what? Everytime i got thies message, i click on remind me later. Then the message disappears. But of course when i turn on computer the next time, it happens again.

By issues i mean like it updating and then it doesn't work or computer get frozen or issues like that.

This build is the same for everyone with windows 10?

Well do you recommend me turn off this update or not? And if so how to do this? So i assume you did the update right? How long did the update take? Also should i make sure i have my important files backed up in case?

Thank you for your reply and many questions.

This build is the same for everyone with windows 10?
    No.

    Click on what?
    the small blue screen

You should see Settings appear if so and the update will be shown.
    - if it's the one I think you're seeing.

    Please post a screenshot.

Im not sure if it's set to notify? How do i check this?

This sounds very impatient. We are volunteers and give our time freely.

How do you expect me to answer that when you haven't told me what the update actually is?
