    Trying to reactivate

Hi everyone, just had to replace my motherboard and trying to activate with activation troubleshooter and I keep getting the message ''
We can't reactivate Windows as our servers aren't available right now. Wait for a few minutes or try adding your Microsoft account again. '' any good ideas.
    Thanks

This is a good sign as you didn't get the dreaded "wrong PK code" message.

Generally this means that the servers are to busy and the traffic needs to slow down before it will allow access to the activation process.

called microsoft 2 times to try to activate, could't be done because it was an old windows 7 oem key, so to save further frustration I just bought a retail key. all is good now.
    thanks for the help

In this instance the "the dreaded "wrong PK code message" would have been more appropiate, but no... MS has to obsfuscate everything.. sigh!
