Windows 10 updates do not complete

I have a client that states:
I receive a notice that I have a new update to install and to restart to complete the update. I restart the computer but the update never completes. I have attached a windows update log to this post.

Hi, it would help to know which build of Windows the client has (Windows key + R, winver) and which update (or upgrade) this refers to. (Update History should help there).

Meanwhile you could advise running the Windows Update Troubleshooter and see what is reported.

The Tutorial section here has a tutorial on resetting Window update.

As a matter of routine you could also advise running
    SFC /SCANNOW
from an admin command prompt and ask for the outcome.

The Troubleshooter sees to indicate two different problems- an inability to connect to the server (proxy setting) - and a database corruption.

Yuo'd have to ask specific questions about the internet connection in respect of any proxy settings that may be configured - or not.

I have found the tutorial for you that I mentioned in post #2

Suggest you ask the client to try that.

(It's worth being aware of the extensive Tutorial section.. very practical..
