So i hide the windows 10 april update but today i wanted to unhide it and give it another try but the program says i dont have any updates hidden.
And im sure it did hide the april update.
What to do?
Are you sure it hasn't installed anyway? Hiding a features update may not work if it is part-way through the download when you hide it - especially if you don't do a Restart.
Run Winver to find out if you are on 1803 without realising it had happened. If it is on 1803 now and it works for you, why not keep it? If you really don't want it yet, then you have 10 days after the update in which you can go back to the previous version (as long as you haven't deleted windows.old).
If you go back, hide the April 2018 Update immediately, then restart after hiding it. That way it should stay hidden.
OK, there are two possibilities.
It may not be hidden now, so it won't appear in your list of hidden updates. If so, it should appear in the list of those you can hide.
The other possibility is that windows update doesn't think your PC is ready for the 1803 update yet so doesn't show it as available for your PC. If so it won't appear in either the list of updates you have hidden, or the list of those you could hide.
There are several reasons why this can happen. Microsoft may have just discovered an issue that affects your type of PC and has now blocked them from seeing the update until a fix is in place. Or windows update may just be giving you a grace period before offering it to you again.
Either way, you cannot hide (or unhide) an update until windows update says it is an available update for your PC. You'll just have to regularly check to see if it has reappeared as a hidden update or becomes available to hide again. Until then, you won't get 1803 unexpectedly, it can't install until windows update sees it as 'available' for your PC.
Hide or Show Windows Updates in Windows 10
Windows Update Mintool may help you see hidden updates. There's an option 'Hidden' - I've not used it personally. Free - a useful tool. Click the scan button (two circling arrows) and it should show the number hidden and list them.
