    Windows 10 v.1803 failed to install in Windows Update_error 0x8024200D


    Hi,

    My laptop is running on Windows 10 Home, 64 bits.

    Since yesterday 17-May-2018 till today, I tried to install Windows feature update version 1803 in Windows Update 4 times but everytime failed, it appeared an error of 0x8024200D and other problems after troubleshooting with a software in my laptop. As I could see on the Windows Update screen while it was running, it repeatedly downloaded and installed whenever it reached 100% respectively (total approximately 4 times). Please refer to the 3 screenshots below for more information.

    Hopefully, I could able to get the issue solved. Thank you.

    Had the same problem for a week now,tried everything I could think of to no avail.Go to MS website and download the windows10 upgrade assistant.Worked like a charm for me.Hope this helps.
