    I ran the upgrade on my 2nd PC using a USB made from the MCT. It from the start to finish it took 54 minutes or so. Old quad 3ghz with 4gb ram and a 5400 spinner.

    Yes, that's what Microsoft call a 'canonical download package'. It's the automatic update through windows update that can take its time, that's the method that uses 'differential packages' through UUP and seems to suffer slow installs for some. I expanded on the difference between the two methods in post #2.

    ...as we roll out UUP in our retail release, users can expect their download size to decrease by approximately 35% when going from one major update of Windows to another.....

    @Bree

    That System is an HP P6-2133W AMD A6-3620 APU with Radeon 6530D

    On that Machine that has Wireless G, 2.4 ghz, Wireless Adapter, Avast Free antivirus, it started downloading at Midnight on May 1st, and by morning woke the machine from sleep mode and it was ready for restart, then finished up and seems to be working fine now

    Even didn't have the Avast problems like the 3 Most used PCs have had

    UI Failing to load on both I7 Based Machines--Laptop and Desktop
    behavior shield not loading on I7 Based Machines--Laptop, Desktop, and other AMD machine-_AMD FX 8310

    ((Probably should get Defender Pua protection enabled on both I7 Systems if I choose to stay with Defender and not bother attempting reinstalling Avast Free)

    Have had three Gateway desktops, all I5s, 6g ram, 2T hd that were running previous builds of Win10, hang and crash during updates. Didn't matter if I had created a new install usb media or downloaded. I had used the usb to update multiple Dell I5 laptops, so know wasn't the media. Looked for updates to bios, none available. In all three, the installation verified correctly the platform and space, but failed the install. Even tried a clean install, keeping nothing, no joy.

    You should create a new thread and post those problems.
    That is highly unusual for 3 systems in one place have that problem. It makes me wonder if some software installation or custom configuration could be responsible for that. For instance it is always recommended to disable AntiVirus software before running and upgrade.
