    Cumulative Update KB4103721 Update Failure

I am facing with an incessant black screen with the mouse busy icon during the reboot after this update. I cannot use Ctrl+Alt+Del to do anything. The power button was used to stop the desktop PC several times before the Windows Safe mode can be invoked. I have tried to restore previous version WITHOUT any success. Fortunately, I do have an Acronis backup to restore my Windows 10 Home system C drive. However, the update will auto run before, I can stop the Windows Update services panel. Maybe, I should disconnect the LAN before rebooting from my backup restore, huh? I am not rebooting anytime soon because I saw the PC will update automatically.

    Fixed

I had same problem... fixed it on 3 different computers with this problem. Use msconfig.exe , services, and uncheck "Advanced System Care " then all computers updated properly.

i do not see it either.

I just stopped the Windows Update services from Services app. In addtition, I hid the update notices with wushowhide.diagcab. However, the PC still sees some updates. Instead of using the Start.Shutdown with a mouse, I just use the power off button. It will not force me to either Update.Shutdown or Update.Restart.
