Then, updating to 17134.48 is his fix. :)

    old/new bizness

saw this and thought I would chime in instead of creating another imponderable question thread...
Due to a Bluetooth bluescreen yesterday I am watching things more closely and noticed this morning that though my trusty laptop was not on AC power during the night, it looked like it had rebooted, so I checked for errors and found a few. in the Event log first thing this morning it left a trail about updating Windows Photos and Windows Video. Didn't recall seeing those items before and was curious so went to the Settings/Updates/History and scanned through updates and no mention. Update history log is spotty. No mention of anything being installed last couple of days except the daily definitions of Defender, which isn't working well itself, throwing DCOM /permissions errors..

Do we need a 3rd party App developer to remedy this with something that will track and explicitly provide an audit trail of Everything that can and should be seen??
