    Hi wajake41, Welcome to 10F!

Yes it would be interesting. It seems if the major update sees anything not Windows related it sits there and twiddles its thumbs.

Did you notice any install delay problems with the minor in between the major updates while the Apple apps were installed?

    Of course.

I just noticed the similarity of the thread title to my post: "1803 update stuck at %42" Does that qualify as "spooky action at a distance"?

OK, so I've also got this same "0xC1900101 - 0x30018 the installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP operation" problem and have tried everything suggested and it's still not letting me get past that 43% mark. Even uninstalling and/or disabling as much hardware/drivers as possible, and services. Installed some patches, you name it. Still won't install from USB even. I'm at a loss and need a definitive way to make it happen.

    Hi DJR96, Welcome to 10F!

Yes, please start a new thread, these problems can get complicated and confusing when more than one member posts in the same thread, if you do please post back a link to your thread so it will be easier to find. Thanks!
