    Windows 10 v1803.. manually install KB4100375 (OS Build 17133.73)

Hey there i'm on v1803.. (i'm not an Insider)
But how can i manually install KB4100375 (OS Build 17133.73).. i have tryed with Cab file's and Always gets errors.. or is it better to just wait when the Official RTM (ISO.) comes available on MCT and then download it again and reinstall again? :/

    Cheers!

I'm in the same position as you. Ultimately I'll probably just reinstall again when the dust settles unless a basic update takes me from this to the final release.

It would be interesting to know what the position is though. Fwiw, the version installed is basically all good for me apart from a few quirks that I'm sure will carry over to the final release anyway,

Yeah, my Product-ID has changed to, when i installed v1803.. because it's still an "Insider preview Build".. but thats not so bad to worry about, :P but do you know if 4GB is much to download an ISO. orn't? .. yeah i just wait untill the official ISO. is available on MCT and then download it again xD

I've not known an ISO download file exceed 4Gb tbh. Isn't it usually around 3Gb for W10 in x64 guise ?

Product ID is something I've never taken much notice of and without researching it I'm not sure what it all signifies.

    Copy the file to C:\
If the file is too long or contains spaces then just rename it.
Try not to use folder with spaces.

If you're Build is 17133.73, then you were successful. I'm not an Insider either but Windows 10 1803 build 17133 is the official version of the Spring Creators Update.
So, I will not reinstall the official release which might not include this update but use WU to install/ update any new files.
Then I would use the updated MCT to create a bootable backup install media and an ISO to have on-hand for an In-place Repair upgrade, if necessary.

I've just tried this as well by using the DISM command and installing the cab file. Now on 17133.73

Any reason why this doesn't show in 'Update History' ?
