KB4093112 We couldn't complete the updates undoing changes

I got this update today for kb4093112. No matter what I have tried it continues to revert changes back to previous settings. I had to turn off updates to notify only to prevent the reverting loop. I had also tried to download the stand alone installer which had done the same as the windows updater.

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 1709 16299.334 x64 bit
Hardware: AMD FX 8300, 8GB Memory, Motherboard: 970A Gaming Pro Carbon
    Security: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium

#3 Download and Update with windows10.0-kb4093112-x64 stand alone installer
Now everything is working fine updated to Windows 10 Pro 1709 16299.371

Congratulations but can you expand on Step 1 ? You ran the 'Upgrade This PC' option or created ISO and did an In-place Repair install with the ISO or usb ? Thanks, lots of people with failed updates want to know.

    Hello @mrgeek
in step 1 I ran an in place "Upgrade This PC" directly from the Media Creation Tool

I do hope this will help others.

Thanks Jeff! I did a clean installation of Windows 10 Home version 1709 on a MSI GE72 notebook and the update KB4093112 was installing in a loop (7 times). Then I did the upgrade with the Media Creation Tool and everything looks good now.
